The closing device of a continuous steam separator is installed in a vessel (1) closed by a removable lid (2), into which, from the side, a condensate inlet neck (3) opens and from below, on the vessel floor (1), a condensate outlet neck (5). At the inlet neck (5), inside the vessel (1), there is a flow connected, essentially perpendicular, tubular floating conduit (6) closed from above, in which, near to its lower edge, there are at least two radial compensation holes (11). On the floating conduit (6) there is a slide fitted floating tubular case (8), which goes plumb through the float (7) and is firmly connected to it. Around the compensation holes (11), in the floating conduit (6) on the inner wall of the floating case (8) there is a cylindrical space (12), into which a split gasket ring (13) is inserted.<IMAGE>
