A method of thermal stabilization of machinery, for example tooling machines, considering the machine as a dynamic thermal system with distributed parameters. Thermal stabilisation is derived from a mathematical model of thermal activity represented by expanding the criterial equation. This equation includes thermal memory and thermomechanical speed. The spurious thermodynamic effect is compensated by the control system of the machine according to the mathematical model.<IMAGE>
