<p>PURPOSE:To provide an automatic document feeding device capable of keeping a prescribed document feeding capacity by providing an oil removing means for removing the oil attached on the surface of the paper feeding rotating body of a separation means, so that the reduction in the frictional coefficient of the paper feeding rotating body of the separation means due to the oil attached on the document can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:An automatic document feeding device is provided with an oil absorbing roller 32 as an oil removing means for removing the oil attached on the surface of the paper feeding roller 9 of a separation part 6. The oil absorbing roller 32 is made of a material capable of absorbing silicone oil or the like that is used as a mold releasing agent at the time of fixing of an electronic photograph. The roller 32 has a prescribed abutting width in relation to the paper feeding roller 9, and also turns in the counter side with regard to the paper feeding roller 9. The drive thereof is caused by a separation roller 11 via an idler gear 33. Thus, the frictional coefficient of the paper feeding roller 9 can be prevented from being reduced even if oil is attached from a document, so that a prescribed document feeding capacity in the separation means 6 can be maintained.</p> |
