<p>PURPOSE: To provide a bleaching and deinking process effective for improving whiteness, decreasing the quantity of necessary chemical substance and, accordingly, reducing the cost. CONSTITUTION: The objective process for bleaching a deinked pulp 12 and removing ink particles contains a step to add a sulfite ion or bisulfite ion to the pulp and a step to introduce steam 16 to effect the flotation of the ink particles 20 on the surface of the pulp.</p> |
