In the case of a gas fitting, in particular for gas-firing systems, comprising a housing containing two chambers which are connected via an inlet and/or outlet and which are separated one from the other by a wall provided with a valve face, and comprising further a rod extending in perpendicular direction relative to the wall, which rod can be displaced in longitudinal direction by means of a drive and is equipped with a valve disk coacting with the valve face, the gas fitting being further equipped with a gas-pressure regulator acting upon the rod, the outlet pressure can be controlled in a simple manner if the said rod is connected to the armature of a proportional magnet which counteracts the force of the said drive.
