PURPOSE:To improve synthetic efficiency of diamond in synthesis by combustion flame. CONSTITUTION:In a method burning preliminarily mixed flame such as acetylene-oxide flame so as to give an incomplete combustion region and then synthesizing and depositing a diamond on a substrate 2 installed in the region, synthetic efficiency of the diamond can be improved by disturbing flame flow 1 on the surface of the substrate 2. A stepped part 4 or unevenness having >=0.1mm height is provided in order to disturb the flame flow 1. Thereby, synthetic efficiency of the diamond can be improved from conventional 0.1-1% to 1-9%. |
