PURPOSE:To contrive to simplify an apparatus and to reduce its cost by making it possible to use a single apparatus in place of a plural kinds of displays by constituting the apparatus so that respective special identifying information and ordinary identifying information can be separately indicated on the divided display surfaces differing from each other on the same display through a display control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A variable display 1 to be arranged almost in the central part of the game board 4 surface of a Japanese pinball game machine 3 has an LCD color panel 2 and can selectively indicate a special game and ordinary game at the time of a pinball game. That is, numbers '0-9' and letters 'A-H' are indicated as identifying information on respective divided display surfaces a-f in the special game, and indication contents changing according to the progress of a pinball game, e.g. the effect that a projected ball enters a start prize-winning port 7 or 8 and the right of a special game is generated, the number of times of exercising the right and other generalized informations are indicated on the divided display surfaces a-i in the ordinary game. Also, a demonstration picture and various messages differing from the identifying information are indicated in a nongame state. |
