PURPOSE:To economically prepare not only a small quantity of papers, but a large volume of papers, and to print the papers with a stencil obtained through plate making CONSTITUTION:The apparatus is provided with a thermal transfer printing means 1 for printing character data or the like to a printing paper according to a thermal transfer method, a plate making means 2 for a stencil which forms apertures in a stencil original, and a stencil printing means 3 for carrying out printing with the use of the stencil obtained by the plate making means 2. The former means 1, 2 share a thermal head as a heating element. A selecting means 4 alternatively selects at least thermal transfer printing or plate making of the stencil original. |
