PURPOSE:To provide a centering device capable of detecting the center position of a tread to hold the same even when the center of the tread is not linear. CONSTITUTION:A centering device 4 of a tread 25 consists of a plurality of detectors detecting the centering grooves of the tread, the holding plates 11 inserted in the detected grooves and a mechanism moving the holding plates 11 laterally to linearly arrange them.
