<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a charging terminal of a battery from rusting, a cause of failure by making an anode part of an electric toothbrush of a titanium material. CONSTITUTION:A storage battery 27 is provided below a motor 17. An anode terminal 29 and cathode one 30 are electrically coupled to the battery. These terminals 29, 30 are connected to an anode fitting 32 and cathode one 22, respectively, when the electric toothbrush is mounted on a charger 31. The anode terminal 29 and anode fitting 32 are made of titanium material. The terminals 29, 30, etc., are apt to get wet in use and to be rusted. When electricity is on between the terminals 29, 30 in charging, it undergoes electrolysis to dissolve the anode terminal 29, etc. So, by making the anode terminal and fitting of a titanium material, which undergoes no electrolysis at low voltage, a cause of failure is eliminated. Also, a foreign matter come into between the cathode terminal and cathode fitting causes contact failure and rusts them. So, the cathode terminal 30 is made of titanium material.</p> |
