PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic composition rubbed in the body skin that contains a siliconepolyol sulfosuccinate, amphoteric surfactant and vehicles, and has excellent appearance, skin protection and flexibility. CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic composition comprises (A) preferably 0.01-30wt.% of a siliconepolyol sulfosuccinate of the formula [R is an alkylene oxide polymer; M is H, an alkali (earth) metal, etc.; (x) and (y) are each such a value as capable of forming a compound whose gram equivalent is 700-1600g], (B) preferably 0.01-30wt.% of amphoteric surfactants, such as alkylbetaines, and (C) preferably 50-70wt.% of pharmaceutically permissible vehicles, such as stearyl alcohol.
