Zoom strobe device

A zoom camera has a light unit which is movable in a direction of an optical axis and is constituted by a movable light emitting tube 15a and reflection shade 15b and a static condenser lens. The position of the movable unit is controlled by a cam groove 20 of a cam member 18 which is moved laterally in accordance with movement of the zoom lens via drive 23. An intermediate lever 24 is provided between the cam member and the light unit so as to rotate about a pivot 25, the lever having an association pin 26 which is engaged in the cam groove 20 and slot 27 which engages with pin 16b of the unit so that a small movement m of the cam member can cause a larger movement M of the light unit. Movement of the zoom lens can also cause movement of the zoom view finder using cam grooves 21 and 22. The zoom view finder and light unit may be in a common housing (Fig 2). <IMAGE>
