PURPOSE:To reuse a character font file prepared once on another type of device by reading specified character font from a character font file and performing matching process such as MSB, LSB or scan. CONSTITUTION:CPU 1 which controls the entire system executes a system program stored in an internal storage device 2 and performs various functions such as setting of a device type table, font designing, preparation of a source file, printing of character font and its end. At the same time, CPU 1 shows an image on a display part 8 based on entered instructions from an input part 3. Consequently, it is possible to prepare a device type table file 21, a character font file 22 and a source file 23 in the internal storage device 2. RAM 4 stores data and data as a processing result temporarily before being entered in CPU 1 from the input part 3. An I/O interface 5 connects CPU 1 to the input part 3 through an input control part 6, and also connects CPU 1 to a display control part 7 through the display part 8. |
