<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gut having increased knot strength and good durability by setting the linear rupture ductility of the winding thread of the racket gut wound with the winding thread around the core thread of a polyamide synthetic resin filament to a specific ratio against that of the core thread, and setting the knot rupture strength/linear rupture strength of the gut to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A lower winding thread 2 and an upper winding thread 3 are wound on a core thread 1 made of a polyamide fiber mono-filament, the linear rupture ductility of the winding threads 2, 3 is set to the range or 1.2-1.5 times the linear rupture ductility of the core thread 1, and the knot rupture strength/ linear rupture strength of a gut is set to 64% or above. The linear rupture ductility of the lower winding thread/the linear rupture ductility of the core thread is set to the range of 1.2-1.5/1, and the ductility of the upper winding thread/the ductility of the core thread is set to the range of 1.4-2.0/1. The knot strength of the gut is increased, and the gut having good drive feeling, high strength, good proportion, and good durability is obtained.</p> |
