THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having excellent impact resistance, weather resistance and chemical resistance and well-balanced other physical properties by modifying a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer and adding other polymer and a weathering stabilizer to the modified copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic resin composition is produced by adding a weather stabilizer to a composition composed of (I) 60-90wt.% of a composition containing (A) a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl monomer, a vinyl cyanide monomer and a vinyl monomer containing epoxy group or a combination of the copolymer A and (B) a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer and (II) 5-40wt.% of a polyolefin polymer modified with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer group or an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer group.
