PURPOSE: To avoid the losing of a taste and a flavor and aroma from a plant product even after steam sterilization by steam-sterilizing by the plant product and a sterilizing container and condensing steam-sterilized or vaporized flavor oil on the plant product in a cooling container. CONSTITUTION: The plant product is supplied to the sterilizing container 12 from a hopper 10 to supply steam for a jacket to desirably heat for 2 to 20 sec. The plant product is discharged into the cooling container 41 with the steam and vaporized flavor oil generated during heating through an air lock system 34 and condensing them.
