<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a resin coated pipe by a method wherein only resin layer is cut without cutting metal pipe. CONSTITUTION:An extrusion molding device 10 applies resin coating made of resin material 18A onto metal pipes 16 by extrusion molding at its extrusion molding section. Resin coated metal pipes are fed out of the extrusion molding section at fixed speed and in a take-up section 60, in which resin coated metal pipe 16 is pinchingly carried with caterpillars 62 so as to be pulled out of the extrusion molding section and fed in a cutting section 66. In the take-up section, when the rear end of the pinchingly carried metal pipe is fed out of the extrusion molding section, the carrying speed of the pipe is accelerated for the predetermined period of time, resulting in developing a gap between the metal pipe, which is being pinched at the take-up section, and the metal pipe, which is passing through the extrusion molding section, so as to cut the resin layer lying in the gap at the cutting section.</p> |
