The invention relates more particularly to a method for the production of dialkoxybutenes from 1,3-butadiene and an alcohol, in the presence of a catalyst, characterised in that the catalyst is a solid comprising at least a first component chosen from the noble metals of group VIII of the Periodic Table of the elements and at least a second component chosen from tellurium, selenium and sulphur, arranged on a support, and in that the reaction is carried out in the presence of oxygen.
