A wall cladding for a building is provided with a stationary casing which can be placed in an opening in a wall and has a lintel and two jambs. On its top side, a movable cladding element is connected to the casing via a horizontal hinge. The cladding element is divided into at least two parts which are connected by a further horizontal hinge, the lower of which parts is designed with lateral guide members for hinged/sliding guidance in vertical guide rails on the jambs of the casing, in order to be able to fold the cladding element upwards in such a manner that a considerable part thereof projects outside the wall and can function as an awning. |
