The invention relates to a steering head for a bicycle, provided with an outer tube and an inner tube which is located concentrically inside the outer tube and to the bottom end of which the fork of a front wheel of the bicycle can be attached, and to the top end of which bicycle handlebars can be attached, while bearings are arranged between the tubes in the vicinity of the ends of the outer tube, a bearing being formed by the self- lubricating ball bearing or roller bearing which is sealed in a dust-tight manner and forms a unit. <IMAGE>
