发明名称 RESISTANCE WELDING METHOD FOR ALUMINUM MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the resistance welding method for aluminum materials which can make a welding current smaller, nugget diameter larger and joint strength higher in the resistance welding method for the members which are to be welded and consist of aluminum or its alloy to resistance welding by interposing an insert material at the joint boundary thereof. CONSTITUTION:The insert material 2 consists of the flux-contg. Al alloy which contains Si and a fluoride flux, contains Al and inevitable impurities, is compounded to contain the Si at 0.05 to 15wt.% of the total contents of the elements exclusive of the fluoride flux and to have 99:1 to 70:30 weight ratios of the total of the elements exclusive of the flux and the fluoride flux and has the density of >=90% of the theoretical value. The thickness of the insert material is smaller than the thickness of the aluminum members to be joined.
