PURPOSE:To provide a process for producing bio-degradable plastic by culturing and decomposing waste sewage sludge, etc., and subjecting the product to the extraction with chloroform, etc. CONSTITUTION:Sewage sludge is incorporated with inorganic salts and organic acids and cultured. The cultivation product is mixed with a solution of a hypochlorous acid salt to effect the decomposition of the sludge. Chloroform is added to the decomposition product to extract a bio-degradable plastic and the chloroform containing the extract is evaporated to obtain the objective plastic. |
