PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method for an ink jet recording head which is suitable for mass production and good in yield. CONSTITUTION:An ink discharge energy generating element 2 is arranged on a substrate 1. Then, a solid layer 4 is laminated according to the element 2, and besides a metallic member 5 is connected to a substrate surface on its opposite side. Then, a molding resin layer 6 is molded by transfer molding so as to cover a part of the solid layer 4 and a part of the metallic member 5. After molding, the solid layer 4 is removed by dissolving to complete a liquid passage and a liquid chamber. |
