The washer is made up of two parts (1,2) that are connected together by a plate (3) which is provided with a central fixing hole (6). The two parts are so joined by the plate (3) that in its folded position they are virtually parallel to each other. In the other position, they are folded out flat so that they lie in a common plane. USE/ADVANTAGE - As a washer with a wide clamping surface for the fitting of road signs onto prepared concrete bases that when folded can be passed through restricted openings in the base of the road signs.
