The suspended support system (10) is for a pipeline. It incorporates a winding spindle (14) which may be turned by a worm gear (15,17) with a wing nut (18). The two ends of a cable (20) are fastened to the spindle so that they may be wound up or payed out together as the spindle is turned. The cable (20) has a sleeve (22) on its middle portion which is wrapped around the pipe (8) to form a carrying sling (23). USE/ADVANTAGE - Suspension system for overhead pipelines is easily adjustable.
