Procedure involves using adjustable delay time between supply of the closure signal and effective closure of the flow controller (1A,1B,1C). Delay time is adjusted according to the desired correction and the flow rate of the flow controller of the filling head. An installation pref. comprises a series of filling stations, by wt., and a series of electronic wt. comparison units allowing delay time correction, based on response time of filling unit, such that flow compensates for filling variation of individual stations. A control unit, pref. electronic balance (4) transmits wt. information to the electronic unit (2A,2B,2C) allowing automatic correction to all stations. A keyboard allows the operator to select correction, either for individual or all stations. The balance (4) can be replaced by a level detector. USE/ADVANTAGE - Control of filling installation to comply with contents legislation. Continuous high speed monitoring and correction of individual filling stations. Automatic or operator controlled via interface.
