<p>PURPOSE:To make the adhesion of magnetic substance particulates to the binder resin of resin carrier excellent, to eliminate the peeling and the dropping of the magnetic substance particulates from the surface of the carrier and the adverse effect on conductive particulates on the surface thereof, and to blend the magnetic substance particulates in the carrier with high concentration so as to improve the magnetic force of the carrier and prevent carrier attraction. CONSTITUTION:Developer is composed by combining insulating toner and conductive magnetic resin carrier obtained by sticking the conductive particulates to the surface of a carrier core obtained by dispersing and carrying the magnetic substance particulates surface-treated by long chain fatty acid or coupling agent in the binder resin. Charge is injected in the surface of a photosensitve body 21 by a developing bias power source 39 to electrostatically charge the surface of the photosensitive body 21, and development is performed simultaneously with back exposure by an LED array 41, thereby forming a toner image 75.</p> |
