PURPOSE:To provide an image synthesizer capable of reducing a calculation cost for image processing and reducing an area where the out-of-focus of an image following interpolation at the time of image distortion. CONSTITUTION:The image synthesizer is provided with image memories 1 and 2 storing inputted image, a correspondent point detection means 3 detecting correspondent points of plural images, a distortion aberration focal distance estimating means 4 estimating the distortion aberration, the rotation correction angle and the focal distance value of each image, a distortion aberration correction means 5 correcting an overlapped part based on the estimated distortion aberration, a rotation correction control means 6 deciding rotation correction value and a rotation correction range based on the estimated rotation correction angle and focal distance value, a rotation correction means 7 rotation-correcting the part of the rotation correction range and an image synthesizing means 8 synthesizing the plural images based on the decision result of the rotation correction control means 6. |
