PURPOSE:To realize an electronic part installation equipment where electronic part feeders are prevented from being wrongly mounted. CONSTITUTION:A feed hopper 3 is provided to each type of product, and a bar code label 3e which represents a type of product and a mounting location is attached to each of the feed hoppers 3. A type of product is stored in a memory, the bar code attached to the feed hopper 3 is read in accordance with the mounting location displayed on a CRT 4, and when the read bar code data are not coincident with the set type of product and the indicated mounting location, an alarm is announced, and an electronic part installation equipment is made to stop operating. By this process, an electronic part feeder is prevented from being mis-mounted. By this setup, defectives are prevented from being produced, and an electronic part installation equipment can be enhanced in productive efficiency. |
