PURPOSE:To enable a part suction device to be lessened in part suction stroke and to take out a part by sucking at a high speed without deteriorating in suction rate. CONSTITUTION:A detecting section 4 which detects the center position of a part located on a part feed section 1 is provided, and a control section 5 which controls the detecting section 4 is provided. The center position of the part located on the part feed section 1 is detected by the detecting section 4, the detection data are sent to the control section 5 which controls a mounting head 2, and the control section 5 records a distance between an initial position of the mounting head 2 and the center position of a part which the mounting head 2 is moved to basing on data outputted from the detecting section 4. The center positions of all the parts on the part feed section 1 are stored. The mounting head 2 is moved to the center position of the part stored in the control section 5 to pick up a part by suction and then moved again to a designated mounting point to mount a part. |
