PURPOSE:To provide the lighting device, in which a ballast is fitted inside a pole easily without enlarging an opening. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 3 is provided on the inner surface of a pole 1 at a position over an opening part 2 provided in the pole 1. A hook 7 is provided on the inner surface of the pole 1 at a position near the upper edge of the opening part 2. One end of a chain 4 hanged through the pulley 3 is hooked on the hook 7, and the other end thereof is hooked on a hook 5a provided in the upper end of a ballast 5. The ballast 5 can be thereby fitted inside of the pole 1 at a position upper than the opening part 2. A hook 8 is provided at a position near the upper edge of the opening part 2, and a hook 6a of the upper end of a ballast 6 is hooked on this hook 8 to fit the ballast 6 inside of the pole 1 at a position opposite to the opening part 2. A switch fitting base 9 is provided at a position near the lower edge of the opening part 2, and a cover knife switch 10 is provided on this switch fitting base 9. |
