<p>PURPOSE:To automatically rerecord by writing the code of 4 bits indicating the prohibition and the permission of recording on the control track of a tape and prohibiting rerecording on the part of the tape desired to preserve. CONSTITUTION:When other program is recorded on the unnecessary part of the tape recorded once, reproduction is performed before the recording of the tape is started and a recording prohibition button is depressed immediately before the tape runs to the leading position of the part to be preserved, and the VASS code of recording prohibition is written in the control track 2. Then, from the start point of time of rerecording, by a control head 1, the control track 2 of the tape is coached and the VASS code of the part written with the code prohibiting the rerecording is read, and then, the VASS code releasing the prohibition of the rerecording is read and recording is started. Then, the rerecording is continued while detecting the VASS codes of the prohibition and the release by a mentioned method.</p> |
