PURPOSE:To provide the musical sound synthesizing device of simple constitution which can generate a musical sound with rich variation and obtain an electronic musical instrument which reduces the trouble of generating a sound. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an envelope generator part 42 which generates the formant of a musical sound according to preset data, a real-time formant analytic device 45 which generates a formant according to time-series data, and a formant sequencer 43. A formant which greatly varies in a musical sound signal to be synthesized is generated by using the real-time formant analytic device 45 or formant sequencer 43 and a formant which has simple variation is generated by performing arithmetic based upon parameters stored in a memory 60. |
