PURPOSE:To easily know variation in the extent of improvement every time practice is done by comparatively displaying character strings before and after correction. CONSTITUTION:The contents of storage parts 5 and storage parts 6 for the character strings before and after the correction are cleared. Then input operation is started to store the character string to an input sentence storage part 3 in order from a keyboard 1. Correction input is monitored and when characters to be overwritten at positions where characters are already inputted are inputted, the character string already inputted is stored in the storage part 6. Then an input end indication is monitored and after the end of the input, the contents of the storage parts 5 and 6 for the character strings before and after the correction are displayed at a display part 4. Thus, the display part 4 which comparatively displays the contents of the character string storage parts 5 and 6 is provided, so misinput in input practice and correction contents can be shown to an operator and the improvement point of the key input can accurately be recognized.
