摘要 PURPOSE:To cut down the operation cost by using an oxide superconductor for even magnetic field magnet. CONSTITUTION:The dipole magnetic field (a) generating coil 11 using an oxide superconductor generating even magnetic fields in the vertical direction is composed of an element winding in saddle shape around a bobbin 12 serving both as an inner cylinder of a liquid nitrogen vessel. At this time, the conductors of this coil 11 are arranged inside the bobbin 12 being distributed so as to be proportional to costheta assuming the central angle of the magnet with the horizontal surface to be theta. Besides, relay coil 13 using the sheetlike connecting oxide superconductor is arranged on the upper and lower sheet parts inside the bobbin 12. Furthermore, the liquid nitrogen vessel is composed of the bobbin 12 assembled into the outer cylinder 15 of the vessel. Through these procedures, the operation temperature can be raised to increase the specific heat of the coil components and refrigerant so that they may be hardly quenched thereby enabling the stability in the permanent current mode, the cost effectiveness and the installability of the superconductor magnet to be enhanced.
