PURPOSE:To accurately stop such a motor like a development sleeve motor, etc., that can revolve forward and reverse at its target position regardless of the speed fluctuation of a DC motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor controller 22 receives a reverse revolution command from a main controller 21 while one of DC motors M1-M6 and M8 including a development sleeve motor that can turn forward and reverse is revolving forward. Under such condition, the start of the reverse revolution is decided when the cycle of the pulse generated by one of encoders E1-E6 and E8 synchronously with the preceding motor is reduced less than the precedent cycle. The controller 22 is provided with a function to stop the motor when the coincidence is secured between the number of pulses generated so far by the encoder from the time point when the start of the reverse revolution is decided and the reference pulse number. |
