PURPOSE:To provide a light spatial transmission device which can correct over a wide area the deviation of its transmitting and receiving sides from each other along an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:An FM wave and an infrared ray RB, which are transmitted from the transmitting antenna 362 and the light emission diode 31 of a receiving unit 3, respectively, are received by the reception intensity detection means 181 and the light detection module 16 of a transmitting unit 1, respectively, and a signal whose level corresponds to the reception intensity of the FM wave and a signal corresponding to the position of application of the infrared ray are output to a servo circuit, which in turn drives an actuator 14 according to the reception intensity of the FM wave and the position of application of the infrared ray thereby adjusting a laser beam LB along the direction of an optical axis, the actuator 14 supporting a laser diode in such a manner as to allow rotation of the laser diode in the horizontal and vertical directions. Thus rough adjustment of the optical axis of the laser beam is achieved over a wide area according to the reception intensity of the FM wave and accurate adjustment of the optical axis of the laser beam is achieved according to the position of application of the infrared ray, whereby deviation of the transmitting and receiving sides from each other along the direction of the optical axis can be corrected over a wide area. |
