Appts. has an endless belt holding successive collection (absorption) tubes (2) inserted in sleeves which are fixed across the belt and which are closed at both ends by closures through which hollow needles can penetrate. Sample delivery and extn. station being designed so that both closures can be penetrated by a pair of hollow needles (5) for gas supply and withdrawal respectively. Sample delivery station (3) has two or more connected hollow needle pairs (5), all of which penetrate closures simultaneously to supply gas samples. Sample delivery station (3) pref. has 2-8 (pref. 5) connected hollow needle pairs (5). Sample removal station is mounted downstream of the sample delivery station in the endless belt travel direction and has only one hollow needle pair. Tubes (2) are pref. grouped on the belt in numbers corresp. to the number of hollow needle pairs (5) in the sample delivery station (3), the gps. being sepd. by a number of empty locations corresp. to the number of tubes in each gp. USE/ADVANTAGE - Gas sample delivery appts. allows multiple sampling simultaneously or in rapid succession and allows measurement profile determn. e.g. for multiple location measurement of soil decontamination or of an exhaust air channel.
