The coupler (3) is part of the front frame (2), from which a short arm (5) projects horizontally to carry the main plough beam (10). The carrying arm (5) has a vertical axle (7) at its free end and the main beam pivots on this axle to swing left or right. The beam can turn to a limited degree about its long axis (14) and also has a limited turn on a near horizontal axis (15). The limited turn on its long axis can be adjusted by threaded spindles (16, 17) which screw inwards towards the beam, or outwards in a stirrup-like frame (20) fixed to the carrier arm (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - The main beam can be inclined about its axis without affecting the upper tractor to plough coupling.
