The edge venting component with a trapezoid-1 cross-sectional form, has its upper side fixable on the edge lath. Its edge sides formed by the trapezoidal sides are provided with regularly spaced venting apertures. It is made (1) of a relatively bending-resistant plastic with a thickness of at least 2mm and on the upper side (10) of the edge sides (8) vertical to the longitudinal axis is a distance holder (12) as locator for the edge piece.
