Safety control device is for a washing machine with a boiling cycle. A heater (2A) is located in a horizontal position near the inner bottom area of a tub and a metal heater support (3A) is fastened in the tub and is in direct contact with the heater (2A). A heater temperature recorder (Th1) is fastened on the rear side of the support (3A) for controlling the operation of the heater (2A). A second heater temperature recorder (36A) is located on the rear side of the support (3A) to provide for a failure of the first recorder (Th1) and a third recorder (4) is provided in case the second one fails. ADVANTAGE - Overheating of heater is eliminated reliably.
