发明名称 Aircraft with fuel safety arrangement - has all tanks in hull and wings filled out with grid structure of glass fibre
摘要 The long-distance aircraft is jet engine-driven and has fuel tanks in its wings, between the wings and in the hull. The hull tank (9) is extened both in the direction of the cockpit (7) and the stern (3) and both the hull and the tanks (10) are filled out with glass wool (18) blown in the high temp. range. The individual glass fibres are bound with long-chain starch - polysaccharides and silicon to form a cuttable, mat-shaped grid structure formed and tensioned between the walls of the fuel tanks. The hull tank (9) extends in the hollow space between the cargo hold and the passenger cabin (6) and the outer wall (12) over the entire length of the hull (2). The hull tank comprises a number of individual tanks which are interconnected and also joined to the airfcraft drive. The glass fibres are coated with a binder mixt. of siicon and starch (7-10 wt.%) and are formed into rolls or plates, followed by drying at around 150 deg.C.. USE/ADVANTAGE - A fuel safety arrangement for long-distance aircraft in which the structure of the fuel tanks is simplified and the aircraft safety maintained.
