Electrically insulating heat coupling (1) for force-cooled electrical capacitors, partic. Al electrolytic capacitors, is positioned between the metallic capacitor housing and a cooler. It consists of two metal foils (6,7) and at least one insulation film (8,9) in a comb-like structure. The end faces (10) of one metal foil (6) contact the housing and the end faces (11) of the other foil contact the cooler. Pref. foil is of Al or Cu and film is of polypropylene. ADVANTAGE - Good conductivity, compensates for irregular surfaces.
