PURPOSE:To omit such an operation where a specific key like a conversion key, etc., is kept pushed until the desired homonym to be selected is displayed for election of homonyms in a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion job. CONSTITUTION:A timer value processing part 5 receives the time covering the display of a certain KANA/KANJI conversion candidate through the display of another homonym from an operator through an input device 8. A time control part 2 is started by a screen display processing part 4 and measures the time inputted by the operator to start a KANA/KANJI conversion processing part 3 to select another homonym. The part 3 has an access to a KANA/KANJI conversion dictionary 10 and starts the part 4 to display the selected homonym on a display device 9. Meanwhile, a present mode storage part 6 and a cursor processing part 7 select the present mode and a cursor shape respectively. |
