An inhaler for administering aerosol medication or oxygen comprises a rebreathing bag 5 with inputs for a mask 6, inhalant and oxygen 3. The administered medication or oxygen is trapped within the rebreathing bag resulting in almost total delivery to the lungs, through one-way valves, during inhalation. Due to the flexibility of the rebreathing bag it deflates during inhalation indicating the extent of intake. In cases of weak breathing, a trachea tube 10 may be inserted and hand pressure exerted on the bag to deliver air to the lungs. <IMAGE> |
