PURPOSE:To enable to use the high speed functions without exclusive use of the exchanger main memory unit, by giving the translation of inverse-translation function of machine words into high class language at the maintenance unit and realizing this translation function by means of the stored program control system. CONSTITUTION:The maintenance unit ME is connected to the exchanger central processing unit CC via the connector CONN and the connection is disconnected here other than maintenance. ME consists of the central processing unit CPU, memory MEM, interface adaptor ACIA and keyboard printer KBP. Thus, by giving translation function of high class language at ME, the economy of exchanger and higher function can be made. |
