Sheets of paperboard are printed, creased and passed between slotting rollers to form slots in the sheet. Printed creased and slotted blanks (25) are glued at a gluing station (20) and, after folding, the blanks (25) are delivered into a well (30) and then stacked (31). A transfer conveyor (37) delivers the stack (34) of blanks to a transfer holding station (38) from which they are delivered to a squaring and strapping machine (40). The transfer conveyor (37) comprises flexible belts (48) which are driven by a motor (46) to match the output of the transfer machine to the squaring and strapping machine (40). <IMAGE> |
