Use of the powder component of the rinse conditioner containing fabric softener or antistatic additive to form an aqueous dispersion of a powder conditioner in a household by mixing a powder with water outside the washing machine before adding batch amount of the said dispersion to the washing machine to form a rinse solution, wherein the fabric softener or antistatic additive is selected from water insoluble cationic compounds with two C12-28 alkyl or alkenyl groups linked to the nitrogen atom with the help of one or more ester bonds; esterifically linked quartenary ammonia compounds.
