[Also in Division E1 A felted cellulose or mineral fibre wall or ceiling tile has a controlled apparently random arrangement of irregular cavities 12 in the exposed face, some of the cavities being generally elongated but none having a length to width ratio greater than 5: 1. A series of regular spaced indentations 16 may also be formed in the panel, and may go completely through the panel. Detailed arrangement and relative sizes of the irregular cavities are given in the Specification, all being such as to give the tile surface a non-directionalized appearance. The ornamentation is produced by piercing rollers after the regular indentations have been formed by punching.</p> |
