PRODUCTION OF COVER GLASS FOR YELLOW FOG LAMP

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a production method for a cover glass for yellow fog lamp having no bad influence upon environmental pollution or operators due to harmful cadmium compound, free from the change of optical property with the change of thickness of the glass base body and capable of improving recycling performance of the waste. CONSTITUTION:The surface of glass molded body composed of a colorless glass is coated with a solution mainly containing a metallic alkoxide and/or the condensed polymer in which an organic yellow pigment having smaller particle diameter than the wavelength of visible ray is dispersed and is heated. In this way, the optical property required for the cover glass for yellow fog lamp is imparted.
